Our Story
Welcome to ‘The Makers’ Bee,’ a female-founded small business born out of a shared passion for crafting and thrifting. Our journey began when we met over a decade ago, with our children just three years old at the time. Now, as they approach sixteen, our friendship and love for creativity have only grown stronger.
Meet the Founders
We are two exuberant, friendly individuals who love to connect and chat with everyone we meet. Our admiration for crafting and sustainable living has been the foundation of our business, and we’re thrilled to share this passion with our community.
Dani known for her infectious energy and the best Bristolian accent, Dani brings warmth and a touch of local charm to every workshop. Her expertise in crafting and flair for creativity are truly inspiring.
Colette is dedicated to making crafting accessible and enjoyable for all, educated with a degree in Fine Art which gained her a comprehensive understanding of art principles, techniques, providing a strong foundation for creative endeavours. Interior design diploma, this gave her specialized skills in interior design, focusing on aesthetics, colour, functionality, and sustainability in spaces.

Based in the vibrant community of South Bristol, we are proud to bring eco-friendly crafting experiences to our neighbors and beyond. Our mission is to create an inclusive space where everyone, regardless of skill level, can explore their creativity and contribute to a sustainable future.
